About Us

Mangwa Pastorate is committed to serving God and the people of the Eastern Himalayan region.

Diocese of Eastern Himalaya

Our Mission

Mangwa Pastorate, Diocese of Eastern Himalaya, Church of North India, is committed to sharing the message of Christ’s love, peace, and hope in the hills of the Eastern Himalayas. As a pastorate rooted in faith and service, we seek to nurture the spiritual life of our congregations while addressing the social and community needs of the people we serve.

Established as part of the Diocese of Eastern Himalaya under the Church of North India, the Mangwa Pastorate includes congregations spread across the serene landscapes of Mangwa and surrounding villages. Our ministry extends through regular worship, pastoral care, children and youth programs, women’s fellowship, and local outreach efforts.

Our vision is to build Christ-centered communities where every individual is valued and empowered to live with dignity and purpose. Through our church-based programs, fellowship gatherings, and service activities, we aim to reflect God’s grace in action and bring meaningful transformation to the lives we touch.

Pastor's Message

Words of inspiration and guidance from our Pastor

Rev. Dr. Kiran Kumar Sharma

Presbyter in charge, Mangwa Pastorate

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

It is with great joy that I welcome you to the official website of the Mangwa Pastorate, Church of North India. As we continue to walk together in faith, hope, and love, may this platform serve as a space for connection, encouragement, and spiritual growth.

The Mangwa Pastorate is more than just a gathering of churches — it is a family rooted in Christ, committed to serving our communities through worship, prayer, and compassionate outreach. Whether in times of celebration or challenge, we remain united in our calling to be the light and salt of the world.

I invite each one of you to actively participate in the life and mission of our pastorate. May this website be a resource for you — to stay informed, be inspired, and deepen your walk with Christ.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

In Christ's Service,

+ Revd. Dr. Kiran Kumar Sharma
